This book No More Dead Dogs takes place in High School in present times. It is about Wallace Wallace, a star high school football player , who gets in trouble with his drama teacher for writing a bad essay on the book Old Shep, My Pal. Wallace Wallace didn't want to tell a lie so when he wrote the essay, he wrote the truth about how he thought. He wrote that he hated how in every book the dog always died at the end. The teacher, Mr. Foogleman, assigned for him to write another essay so that he would not get a bad grade or worst, not being able to play football intill he writes a better essay. Wallace Wallace refused to rewrite the essay! As a punishment, Mr. Foogleman made him miss football practices and games. He also had to stay after school to help with the school play, "Old Shep, My Pal". Wallace didn't change his mind and he had to work on the school play the whole football season. Wallace decided he was going to be in the play so he might as well make the best out of it. Wallace ends up changing the play. To find out the changes that Wallace made, read No More Dead Dogs.
9 out of 10-
I graded this book a 9 out of 10 because i think it was a great and exciting book but it was really confusing. I thought this because every single chapter it switched its point of view like the first chapter was written by Wallace Wallace but the second chapter is written by Rachel Turner. That is why I thought this book was 9 out of 10.
New Chapter Cover-
This is my new chapter title of the book No More Dead Dogs. I choose this as my new cover because this is a picture of the dog in this book.
